With a background in law and a commitment to public service, I strive to protect the rights of our citizens and seek justice through the prosecution of criminal offenses.
Having worked as an assistant district attorney for almost 10 years, I am passionate about serving the people of the Appalachian Judicial Circuit and am committed to fostering a safe and just environment for all residents. I work tirelessly to collaborate with law enforcement, our legal community, and community organizations to address the needs of our three counties.
I am dedicated to ensuring that the rights of victims are upheld while also seeking justice for those who have committed offenses. I am honored to serve as District Attorney for the Appalachian Judicial Circuit.”

District Attorney Frank Wood utilizes all resources available including state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies and the Appalachian Judicial Circuit’s drug court, veteran’s court, and mental health court programs in order to better serve the citizens of Fannin, Gilmer, and Pickens counties.
