Mr. Frank Wood was appointed Chief Assistant District Attorney of the Appalachian Judicial Circuit by District Attorney B. Alison Sosebee. He was sworn-in to this position by Chief Superior Court Judge Brenda S. Weaver.

Frank has faithfully served as an Assistant District Attorney in this Circuit for over the past seven years. He will assist throughout the Circuit in Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin counties.

We are confident that Frank will approach the duties of this appointment with the same dedication and work ethic that he has shown during his tenure with the District Attorney’s office.

As a side note:  In addition to the ACTUAL oath Frank was given, he was given another one – the OATH TO BE A GEORGIA BULLDOG! For the die-hard Tennessee Vols fan that Frank is, he couldn’t quite make that commitment!

AND even though we managed to get half his signature on the Bulldog Oath, no one is expecting him to be yelling “GOOOO DAWGS! Sic’em!” anytime soon!
